Internationalization

e-linQ organizes educational projects from a local level all the way to a worldwide scale. e-linQ develops and supports worldwide school networks, in particular for the higher education. Furthermore, e-linQ does research on bringing internationalization into practice, in Dutch education as well as abroad.

International and intercultural cooperation and communication play an important role in internationalization. The international contacts, on a basis of equality, are focused on a persistent and peaceful society. e-linQ works from and for education, with a special care for the implementation of the developed activities in the local or national curriculum.

In the educational world, e-linQ gained great fame with the project This is our Time. This groundbreaking project offers schools the opportunity to add more depth to internationalization and ICT within daily educational practices in a new, refreshing and interactive way. Internet, e-mail and video conferences offer younger people the opportunity to take a look at life in another country. Through these mediums, they are encouraged to acquaint themselves with other cultures and broaden their horizon.

As distances become smaller and communication between cultures increases, internationalization is a valuable tool to prepare students to their role as world citizens. In cooperation with partners within a country and abroad, e-linQ offers schools and educational organizations the right kind of internal and technical assistance with starting up, carrying out and evaluating internationalization projects.
