Sintermeertencollege was one of the first European schools that joined the American schoolnetwork WorldClassroom: the early days of email communication. Within this framework SMC Telematica was gradually established. The department started with internationalisation projects on a small scale.
SchoolLink was the first newspaper for pupils, containing news about the digital exchange from pupils of the Sintermeertencollege with pupils from among others USA, England, Japan and Russia.
