Sustainable Footprint
Sustainable Footprint is an international educational project based on the well known concept of the ecological footprint, but aiming at a different aspect of the human footprint. Students are asked to think about the sustainability of the footprint they leave on the earth. They are stimulated to create positive footprints. The project, developed by E-linQ, is designed especially for exchange between students in very different parts of the world around the questions: What is my footprint in your country? And: What will my footprint look like after a hundred (or more) years?

The sustainable footprint can not be calculated in exact numbers. It is the ecological aspects of our way of living, elsewhere (i.e. Third World!) and in the future. Developing sustainable ideas, technology etc, is the main activity.

The project is about solidarity with people elsewhere and in the future. It also can be used for studying the life of past generations: what can we learn from their footprints?
